Meet Mr. Alexis, a Sophomore student at the More Opportunities English Program and a proud worker at Codelco.
During an international activity on April 21st, he found himself surrounded by ambassadors from across Europe. Then came the moment that tested everything he had been learning:
A German ambassador needed clarity on a technical part of the presentation—and she needed it in English.
Alexis stepped forward.
He spoke.
He explained.
He delivered.
Later, he shared:
“I felt eminently satisfied with my studies at the M.O.E.P. I had ultimate confidence to speak English in a professional environment.”
That short conversation changed everything.
It gave him clarity.
It gave him purpose.
